Introduction
Hold onto your steak knives, folks! We’re diving into a carnivore diet success story that’s nothing short of awe-inspiring. Meet Jillian Faith, a 34-year-old dynamo who’s turned her life around in ways that’ll make you want to stand up and cheer. Why is her story worth your time? Because Jillian didn’t just lose weight; she transformed her life, dodged surgery, and even improved her mental clarity—all thanks to the carnivore diet. So, if you’re still sitting on the fence about this all-meat extravaganza, Jillian’s journey might just tip the scales for you. Ready to sink your teeth into this? Let’s go!
The Jillian Chronicles: From Yo-Yo Dieter to Carnivore Convert
Jillian Faith was your classic yo-yo dieter, bouncing from one diet to another like a pinball in a machine. She grew up on the Standard American Diet, a smorgasbord of fast food and processed junk. But life threw her a curveball—a thyroid nodule that was suspicious for cancer. Faced with the prospect of partial thyroidectomy, Jillian decided to take the road less traveled. She reached out to a clinic in Budapest, Hungary, that specializes in the Paleolithic-Ketogenic Diet, a strict form of the carnivore diet. And just like that, on March 3, 2019, she went full carnivore, focusing on nose-to-tail eating with four-legged animals like ruminants and pork. No more dairy, no more fermented veggies, just pure, unadulterated meaty goodness!
The Weight Loss Miracle: How Carnivore Made the Pounds Melt Away
Let’s talk numbers, shall we? Jillian went from a staggering 211 lbs to a svelte 120-123 lbs. But here’s the kicker: she lost the last 45 pounds effortlessly after going carnivore. How did this happen? The carnivore diet is a low-carb, high-fat diet that puts your body into a state of ketosis, allowing it to burn fat for fuel instead of carbohydrates. This metabolic switch made weight loss a breeze for Jillian, and she’s been able to maintain her new weight without breaking a sweat. Talk about a win-win!
Mental Clarity: The Unsung Hero of the Carnivore Diet
But wait, there’s more! Jillian didn’t just lose weight; she gained mental clarity. When you’re in ketosis, your brain can be up to 35% more efficient. That’s like upgrading your brain from a scooter to a sports car! Jillian’s newfound mental clarity is a testament to the power of the carnivore diet to not just transform your body but also sharpen your mind.
Conclusion
Jillian’s life has taken a 180-degree turn for the better. She avoided surgery, lost weight, and gained mental clarity—all thanks to the carnivore diet. Her story is a beacon of hope for anyone dealing with similar health issues. The carnivore diet isn’t just a fad; it’s a lifestyle that can bring about profound changes in your physical and mental well-being.

Interview with Jillian
Introduce Yourself.
My name is Jillian Faith and I am 34 years old. I am currently seeking ways to improve my health through the carnivore diet and biohacking techniques.
How did you eat before Carnivore.
Prior to carnivore I was a yo-yo dieter. I have tried plant-based diets, calorie restriction and many other options. I grew up eating a “Standard American Diet” and ate a lot of fast food.
Why did you try Carnivore to begin with.
A few of my friends started talking to me about the carnivore diet and the benefits it could have on my health. At first I thought they were a bit crazy. I’m an open minded, but skeptical person and decided to give it a try in December 2018.
I was diagnosed with a large thyroid nodule which is suspicious for cancer. Because of this, my doctors wanted to do a partial thyroidectomy. I did not want surgery, so I contacted a clinic in Budapest, Hungary which uses a carnivore diet called the “Paleolithic-Ketogenic Diet” as a form of managing and treating many types of illness. I shifted from my carnivore based diet to a strict carnivore diet per their recommendation on March 3rd, 2019.
How do you personally approach the Carnivore Diet.
Initially, in December I allowed for fermented vegetables like sauerkraut and kimchi. I also had dairy and honey.
Since March 3rd, 2019, I have cut out all dairy and focus on eating nose-to-tail with four legged animals like ruminants and pork. At this time I do not eat fish or poultry, but plan to add eggs back towards the end of this month.
I do a Ketogenic version which is virtually zero carbs (although liver does have minute amounts of carbohydrates). I eat a 2:1 ratio of fat to protein based on calories. I also eat organ meats because I do not use any supplements. I consume brain and liver regularly and also make my own bone broth. I also include good quality salt in my diet.
What benefits have you seen since starting the Carnivore Diet.
I have lost a significant amount of weight. The pictures I have provided are me at my heaviest of 211 lbs. I did not lose all of that weight via Carnivore, I was about to get down to about 165 lbs with other methods, but it was such a struggle. Since starting carnivore I effortlessly went from around 165 lbs to 120-123 lbs (depending on the day.) I have been able to keep it off. I have never been this slender in my adult life.
Because I am on a Ketogenic version of Carnivore I have noticed much more clarity of mind, I read your body and brain can be up to 35% more efficient on ketones versus sugars/carbs.
Lastly, I recently had some blood work done and my results were near perfect. I was slightly low in sodium and need to add a bit more salt to my diet, other than that I had great results.

What negatives have you found with the Carnivore Diet.
I focus on grass fed meats and therefore going out for social events isn’t always easy. I have to pack my food and plan in advanced. Other than this, I haven’t had many negatives. I do sometimes “miss” certain foods, but I do not get crazy cravings so its easy to dismiss.
Do you exercise on the Carnivore Diet, if so how do you find it and what do you do.
At this time I do not do any exercise at a gym, because I am allowing my body to rest and heal the thyroid nodule. I am however an avid gardener. Using hand tools to work with the soil and bending down to plant seeds can be quite the workout. I have about a 15′ by 35’ area in which I have row crops established and I do a lot of work in the yard. Now that the weather is warming up, I also enjoy hikes and nature walks.
What piece of advice would you give someone who is interested in trying this diet, but hasn’t taken the leap yet.
Read as much as you can about the diet. It is always good to read the opposing views, because I find that there is value in knowing that information as well. Many say you do not need to eat organ meats, but I believe eating nose-to-tail is much better than taking supplements. Do not be afraid to ask questions. Be skeptical, but remain open-minded. Above all else – Listen to your body, no one knows “You”, better than you.
Do you think Carnivore will ever be accepted as a mainstream diet.
There is a lot of money in the food industry as it currently is. With large companies making processed foods from plants at such low costs, the industry will always push back. Greed is a very ugly thing and has always played a factor in what is pushed upon society as the norm. I think because of this, making carnivore mainstream will always be an uphill battle. But I do believe the carnivore movement is gaining some steam.
Anything you would like to add, and where can people follow your journey.
I am overwhelmed by the support I have gotten by those in the Carnivore Community. I see people helping people and totally feel the love. I want to give back and do the same for anyone else on a similar journey.
If anyone wants to follow my journey or contact me, they can find me on Instagram at @BrainsBoneMarrowAndBiohacking
I am actually quite the introvert and do still have many of my own struggles with the PTSD (mentioned in an article that recently went viral), so if I do not reply right away, please do not take offense. I will try to respond to those people who reach out.
Also please keep in mind, I am not a doctor or nutritionist and do not claim to be, I can only share my own experiences and what is working for me.
