Yecca’s Carnivore Diet Journey: A Deep Dive into Health Transformation

Written by:

Introduction

Hey, folks! Steven here, and boy, do I have a story that’s gonna knock your socks off! Remember Yecca? Ah, yes, the culinary genius who turned her life around with the carnivore diet. Her story is so mind-blowingly awesome that I had to revisit it. Why? Because it’s chock-full of inspiration, hope, and a whole lot of meaty goodness! 🥩

Summarizing Yecca’s Carnivore Diet Success Story

Yecca was a food lover from the get-go. She started cooking at 8 and working in restaurants at 12. But despite her love for food, she was always struggling with her health. From candida to depression, she had it all. She tried every diet under the sun, from vegan to Paleo, but nothing seemed to stick. Then she stumbled upon the carnivore diet and thought, “Why not?” She gave it a shot, and the results were nothing short of miraculous. Within a few months, her candida was gone, her mood stabilized, and she felt like a new person. Talk about a 180, right?

Analyzing Benefit #1: Candida Elimination

One of the most jaw-dropping benefits Yecca experienced was the elimination of candida. Now, how did a meat-only diet do that? Simple! The carnivore diet cuts out all the sugars and carbs that feed candida. Yecca was finally able to kick candida to the curb after years of failed attempts. And let’s be real, who wouldn’t want to get rid of that pesky fungus?

Analyzing Benefit #2: Mood Stabilization

The second benefit that had me doing a double-take was Yecca’s mood stabilization. Imagine going from feeling like a rollercoaster of emotions to being as steady as a rock. The carnivore diet helped balance her hormones and stabilize her mood. No more mood swings, no more depression. Just a happy, healthy Yecca living her best life!

Conclusion

Yecca’s life has improved in ways she never thought possible. From battling chronic health issues to finally finding peace and stability, her journey is nothing short of inspirational. And guess what? If Yecca can do it, so can you! The carnivore diet could be the key to unlocking a healthier, happier you. So, what are you waiting for? Dive in!

Disclaimer

Just a quick heads-up, folks! This is a review of an older post, and while Yecca’s story is awe-inspiring, we can’t confirm if she’s still on the carnivore diet or has maintained these benefits. And remember, I’m not a doctor, just a guy who loves sharing these incredible stories!

Interview with Yecca

1) Introduce Yourself.

I’m Yecca! I’ve always been in love with food and everything around it! For as long as I can remember, I was so infatuated with the way food worked, how it looked, smelled, tasted, how it made others feel… I started working in restaurants at 12 years old, been cooking since I was 8. Food has literally been my life and my love! I currently work from home doing meal prep for families in my neighborhood and also at a local catering company that uses local and organic foods. I love supporting local businesses, farms, and ranches. Knowing where your food comes from brings you closer to your food, supports the economy and environment.

2) How did you eat before Carnivore.

I have tried just about every single “diet” out there! As most Americans, I grew up eating a Standard American Diet (SAD). I was always overweight, tired, moody, and negative. When I started culinary school, health started becoming more important to my life; So, I, as most others do, went towards a plant based diet. I ate mostly vegetarian for about 3-4 years. Then I tried gluten free, then vegan, then raw vegan, then grain free, then Paleo and Primal, then dairy free, then low carb, the candida diet, the lemonade diet, the cabbage soup diet, and so on and so forth… Everything I tried either didn’t work, or only worked temporarily.

3) Why did you try Carnivore to begin with.

I had candida that I could not get rid of. I had taken many supplements, done countless cleanses and diets FOR 3 YEARS and nothing would make it go away permanently. I was also wanting to lose weight that I had gained back from being Paleo and from being depressed. I was depressed with my life and my past relationship and felt like there was no way out. I had also completely lost my libido 100%. A couple of friends of mine had told me about it, and even though I thought they were crazy, at first, I knew and understood that cutting all sugars out completely would be extremely beneficial for someone with serious health issues like cancer. When I had arrived at the moment that I was going to try carnivore, I had just finished reading someone’s blog about a similar story to mine. 30 days? I had to try it out, 30 days after 3 years was like nothing! Of course I fell off a couple times, but sure enough after the first 30 days, I added another 30 days. Then, after the first 60 days, I said 6 months. Before the 6 months came, I knew I was in it for the long run. I was feeling younger, healthier, and so full of life I couldn’t believe it!

4) How do you personally approach the Carnivore Diet.

When I explain what I eat to others, I mention I eat meat, dairy, eggs, and sauces. I also eat fresh herbs. I rarely drink alcohol, but when I do I stick with low carb drinks like dry wine, tequila, and vodka. Just because they’re no carbs doesn’t mean I don’t get bloated for 2-3 days, though! I don’t think supplements are necessary on this way of eating, but I do take some just to try them out, to be “superhuman”, or to flush toxins out after I’ve eaten garbage or alcohol. Carnivore is the best way to heal your body and give it the proper nutrition in the most easy way possible. Yes, it takes time, but it’s absolutely worth it! Even if carnivore doesn’t work for you in the long run, you can always learn about YOUR body from simply trying it out.

5) What benefits have you seen since starting the Carnivore Diet.

Clear skin. Muscle gain without working out or super muscle gain when I do work out! When I work out my arms or legs, I can literally tell a difference in just 1-2 days. Steady mood, no mood swings, and hardly anything bothers me anymore, unless I fall off and eat something with sugar or grains in it. The side effects are either immediate or happen the next day. NO GAS!! I get to eat as much as I want when I’m hungry. No bloating, unless I eat too much cheese or dairy. Little to no joint pain. I’ve had scoliosis for years and years and a lot of joints would hurt to the point where I couldn’t stand up or go to work! Carnivore has rid me of this problem. No body odor. Regular poops. No more dry scalp which used to be so bad, I could scratch off chunks from the top of my head!   I used to have super short, thin, and brittle nails with skin always peeling off around the edges. I now have long, strong, and beautiful nails, with no dry skin around the edges. On point menstrual cycle. High energy all throughout the day with 6-7 hours of sleep. Libido back up 110%! No candida! It was healed within a couple months and has not returned once! Depression vanished.

6) What negatives have you found with the Carnivore Diet.

Always having to explain myself to others. When you have standards/preferences like mine, (no vegetable oils, no commercially raised meat, little to no pork, grass fed/organic only, no soy), it actually can be hard to dine out and leave full most times, so I’ve had to be a little flexible on that end.

7) Do you exercise on the Carnivore Diet, if so how do you find it and what do you do.

I’m just starting to get into exercising. I’ve always hated it, but now I’m having all this excess energy I don’t know what to do with! And I’m already making gains!  I workout at home mostly, but in total I workout 5 days a week for 20-30 minutes. When I wake up early enough, I go to the gym with my boyfriend and do the same workouts he does. Most days I still don’t enjoy it mentally, but it takes time to change your thought processes! My mind is easier on me when I go with my boyfriend, though. I never regret working out no matter how hard my mind fights it. I want to enjoy working out. I love the idea of being a superhuman, and working out is definitely a big part of that, in my opinion.

8) What piece of advice would you give someone who is interested in trying this diet, but hasn’t taken the leap yet.

Just jump in, don’t wait. Buy as much meat as you can and prep a lot of meat to help kill the cravings, because the cravings are so real!!! (Especially if you go out a lot.) Bacon, burgers, cheese chips, pork rinds, chicken salad, egg salad, tuna, cheese, heavy whipping cream… stock it all up! The cravings are hard to pass, but drinking cream is what helped me get rid of them in the beginning. Nowadays, a cold burger will do. LOL

9) Do you think Carnivore will ever be accepted as a mainstream diet.

I believe it’s the next up and coming “fad”! I also believe it will be bashed and trashed by all the “fake news” stating lies about how meat is bad for you and the earth. When, in reality, it s not true at all! I’m one of the biggest “hippies” I know and I would not be eating this way if I knew it was bad for the planet, our bodies, or our souls. I believe in living a “full circle” life and this couldn’t be anymore closer to that! (Unless I was hunting my own food! Hopefully one day!)

10) Anything you would like to add, and where can people follow your journey.

No matter how hard carnivore is for you, it’s always best to listen to your body. There are so many carnivores out there and all of our stories are different. All of our food sensitivities are different. No one carnivore is the same. Find what makes YOU feel good, what foods YOU love and can afford and stick with that. Being a carnivore is like knowing this huge secret that no one wants to believe. When others turn their nose up at me, I just smile and eat more steak. And that’s what you call zero carb zen.

I post all my meaty delicacies on Instagram @eatmeatqueen. I have a cookbook I am working on and a website coming this year!
