Embarking on an unforgettable adventure, today we conquered Route 8 of #WalkingTheWainwrights, exploring the enchanting Western Martindale Fells! With six majestic Wainwrights to climb, we witnessed the Lake District’s splendor in all its glory. 🌄

Our journey began at Hallin Fell, offering panoramic views of the serene Ullswater below. Steel Knotts, our second Wainwright, challenged us with its rocky ascent, but the rewarding vistas made every step worthwhile. ⛰️

Next, we ventured to Beda Fell, where rolling hills and lush valleys unfolded before us. We continued to Angletarn Pikes and Brock Crags, where the landscape transformed into a breathtaking tapestry of rugged beauty. 🌲

Finally, we summited Place Fell, the crowning glory of this route. Standing atop this magnificent peak, we gazed in awe at the stunning panorama of Ullswater and the surrounding fells. 🌊
