I only got in 3 runs in over the last 2 weeks, which isn’t great. This has been down to a few social reasons, and getting a new dog.

I am behind on my training for sure, but that is only one person’s fault… mine. However there is no point worrying about it. The marathon is a month away, so I cannot make up too much fitness without risking injury. Therefore is it just a case of getting as much training in as possible between now and then, without pushing it too hard. As I like to be really fresh on that start line. Barring injury, my first marathon is just about completing it anyway. I have some rough times in my head I would like to achieve, but at the end of the day as long as I finish in 6.5 hours I get an official time and medal. So that is the main goal really.
