Well it has been about 6 weeks since my last “Running on Keto” post, and if you look at how many runs I have done it doesn’t seem many!
This is a little skewed as in this time period, I had a half marathon race where I was not allowed to use my strava and included a weeks walking taper beforehand with a weeks rest after.
It is only 8 weeks to my first marathon, and I am definitely undercooked and behind where I wanted to be. This 8 weeks will be inhibited by 2 camping trips , a weekend abroad for a 40th birthday party, and a taper week. So baring that in mind it is going to be hard to get the training in. On a positive note I am currently injury free, so I will just try to get as much training in as possible and see where that takes me. It will probably take me to breaking down in tears at mile 20! Honestly I am not too worried though, I am happy just for the experience of hopefully completing my first marathon.
