The Ketogenic Diet Experiments: Very Low Calorie Diet – Day 3

Day 3 of my experiment with a very low calorie ketogenic diet.

Start Weight – 13st1

Current Weight – 12st10

Daily Weight Loss/Gain – 2 pound lost

Total Weight Loss/Gain – 5 pound lost

Comsumed –

  • 500 calories from 3 meal shakes and 2 snack shakes from Islaverde.
  • 4 coffees ( 2 decaf) with whole milk, one Tea with whole milk.
  • 1.5l of water.

Comments – I am feeling better today than I did yesterday. I am not as hungry as I thought I might be. Yes I am hungry and could eat a horse, but I am not ravenous. The shakes still taste like crap though, and I have to wash my mouth out with water after. However this isn’t a big deal, if I think something is working and achieving what I want then I can put up with it…. and to be fair it is working so far.
