I have had an enjoyable week of running, yoga and calisthenics.

My long run went really well, in fact all my runs have went well this week.

I think it is down to the fact I have slightly adjusted my running technique. I came to realise I was over compensating on my fore/midfoot ground strike. I was so concerned not to heel strike; I went too far the other way. So much so, my heel would barely touch the floor all run. So in effect my entire run would be a glorified dynamic calf raise. Oh dear!

So I have been mindful to focus on a more natural midfoot strike, and things seem to have gone well.
