Marathon Training Week 7 & 8, with a Ketogenic Diet

I have only done 4 runs in the last 2 weeks, as I went away camping for 4 days over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Even though I am a couple of runs down on what I would have liked to have done over a 2 week period, I am happy as they were good quality runs. I have increased the length of the runs, and I am feeling good with it. I am still running to my MAF heart rate, and even with the increase of miles, my minute per miles is decreasing nicely.

In week 7 my minute per miles were both in 14 minute per mile bracket, and in the 13 minute per mile bracket in week 8. I am very happy with this progress, as I started in the 16 minute mile bracket.

As I mentioned previously, I sent a good 4 days camping. I love going camping, I do believe it does you good to put your phone away, and just spend time in nature. So as far as I am concerned, the 4 days were beneficial to my training.
