Marathon Training Week 6, with a Ketogenic Diet

A pretty standard week this one. No days out or hills climbed.

My “long” run was 4.5 miles, then 2 standard 3 mile runs during the week.

I managed my weekend run of 4.5 miles fine, and I was happy with the 15:12 min/m. As I have mentioned before where I live is very hilly. As I train to my MAF heart rate, this does mean my min/m will be affected more than someone doing the same training on flatter ground. I think they would be able to see small improvements easier, where as I have to trust the process a little more.

I changed up my 3 mile runs this week, running in a different part of my town. It’s a much more scenic route. Lots of greens and browns to relax you, and lots of blue sky and much less traffic.
