When you tell people you are on LCHF diet. Usually they look at you like you are stupid. Then they say so what you cannot eat bread! pasta! cake! how do you survive.

The funny thing is that’s not the hard part. The hard part for me is at the weekends, as I am out of the house most of the day. For example today, I will go for a fasted run. Have a bit of food in the house. Then I will be out all day in Newcastle, watching Newcastle United and milling about.

So I will take a tub of food, which I will keep in the car in a cool box, and pick at it when I can.

Todays culinary masterpiece is:

Harrogate 97% meat sausage’s, 0.05g carbs per sausage

Block of Extra Mature Cheddar Cheese, less than 0.05g carbs per 100g

Mini Gherkin’s

It will not win any Michelin stars, but it will fuel me for the day. No more match day Pie’s for me!
